Therapy Dog

This week we asked Lindsey Gasper about why she has started a new project about getting a therapy dog for the school. Lindsey said that “Lisbon Inc. is looking into getting a therapy dog because we think it can help benefit the students at Lisbon.” What inspired the Lisbon Inc. group to start this project is Alburnett has a therapy dog for their school and Mrs. Snyder saw this project as a learning opportunity for several students. Lindsey said that “the dog will be available to people who are having trouble staying focused in class or are having depressing thoughts. Lindsey said that they are not sure of when the school might be getting a therapy dog but it could possibly happen as soon as next year!
