My definition of a dream job is something that makes you want to work and want to do your best when you go to your job. A dream job is something that you’re passionate about, something that makes you happy and something that you enjoy doing. You may like something that somebody else does not like. Your dream job is something that has meaning to you and it makes someone’s dream job special.
I do think that dreams jobs do exist out there. Some people have the exact dream jobs that they have always wanted but others do not. Everyone is different from each person’s interest, morals and beliefs. There are people that are wanting to go to work everyday and those people enjoy doing what they do. My dad, who is now the police chief in Lisbon, really does enjoy his job at times. He grew up in a small town, and talks to everyone and knows everyone around here, and everyone knows him. However, he does not like it when there are deaths, accidents, medical calls/ suicides that he has to go on. He has to go and tell parents and children that a loved one will not be coming home. I also do believe that there are a lot of people out there that do not enjoy their job. Some people do not even want to go to work. These kind of people do not have their dream jobs. About 70% of people do not enjoy the job or profession that they are in. This means that they are not giving their full effort on what they are doing at work.
A person can find their dream job by searching the jobs that relate the most to their skills. If someone likes stuff that has to do with like say football, then maybe they could be a coach, but maybe they can be a referee. You’re still involved in the sport and staying connected; however you’re just not directly playing the sport. I think that being involved in something that makes you want to get out of bed and go give your full effort towards is a great job to have. You would be happy most of the time and you would actually enjoy doing whatever it is that you are doing.
My dream job would be to go into the United States Army for four years and then go to an army based college and become a police officer. I would love to be involved in law enforcement and be helping people. I know everything about law enforcement isn’t all fun and easy but I want the challenge. I can not wait to pursue my dream job and do what I want to do and enjoy what I am doing every single day! I enjoy doing the right thing and I like making quick, responsible decisions.
